Though I think Indiana and Iowa are the most boring places I was ever forced to visit.

Driving across Kansas, the best you can do is get out of the car, stare down the interstate. It's so flat, if you really focus your eyes, you can see the back of your own head.

I live about 8 miles from Kansas. On a clear day I can smell the stupidity.
