We set the record in Green Bay for the most snow in October.... Evahh. 28 degrees currently. The good news is, only six months of winter left.

Victor,
Did you do the drunk bumbling on the bike?

yep, reasonably uneventful... other than it being 32F while I biked without a jacket wearing a tutu and running leggings.

I'm still cold.

The wife is a lightweight and we headed home just when it was getting dark, so I was only able to get so much alcohol in me. I suspect I was mostly sober still.

Normally, I would tend to agree... but the Optima has a turbo model that's moderately quick. Not G37 fast, mind you... but good for a Kia.

It's on THEIR dime, and they are paying for your rental. It makes good bidness sense to get that work done first and fast. The poor schlub who's paying for his car to be fixed just had another day or two added to his wait.

Afternoon peeps...[ram27bat]

Wind be a blowing here today .[frypan]

.....but nothing compared to California, our prayers for all those facing fires.

thanks Ram...three straight years of serious whole state is burning fire seasons...and it seems fire season is getting longer...especially bad when the wind is blowing and the air is dry, like now...

fire fighting resources stretched very thin, so we have to use inmates from the state prisons supervised by the state fire service to help fight the fires in central and northern parts of the state...

fortunately for us, some of the brush and shrub in the hills and mountains near us burned last year...so we are not in any danger...

We have two Kia's, A sorento and a Soul. Love them both. KIA is no joke on their warranty. My wife's Sorento radio died at the 6 year mark. They changed it out, gratis. Not a complaint.

Hard to beat that.

Weather warmed up a bit. Back to the normal 40° gloom. Most of the snow has melted.

And it's time to head back to work.

Long week sitting in conference rooms with bankers and lawyers. I’m worn TF out. I need scotch and pizza.

Chit, I have a '65 Corvette and the radio works just fine. No reason to take in in for replacement. Only problem is it plays Sonny And Cher tunes. 🤦
