This is a good crew. Have experienced 2 or 3 screw jobs over above a 5 year period when I was active in trades and fantasy football. Only 2, maybe 3 poor outcomes out of 50-100 transactions.
A shame when it happens. The world gets a little darker and colder when it happens.

While it wasn't a trade, it was a RAOK in all respects, my thought was "what kind of crap is that?" Grab and go? Come to find out you guys have seen it all along. Lesson learned, I'll leave it for the noob pibs from now on.
Character matters. How one comports one's own self goes a long way toward how folks react to you. If you're a combative ass, guess what? Simple courtesy, taking the time to read and understand the way a site works, thus showing some respect for the forum's traditions, ways of doing things, and it's membership is a huge thing. That goes a long way.
To do otherwise is to court disdain and banishment. I'm afraid some folks don't figure that out until it's too late.
No different here than in life. Except here the risk of an actual punch in the mouth is less of a concern.
