Night of the crazies at work.

I don't know where they find these people. The stories I wish I could tell.

Roofer said "Tuesday morning by 730, probably sooner" so I asked a couple day shifters to relieve me 20m early so I could be home by 730. Got home at 725, no roofers. Boy got on the bus at 735. No roofers. It's 750, in having beers and cigar out in the garage waiting for the roofers.

Have a feeling they're not coming today. Rain in the forecast. I'll call the foreman before I head to bed. If they don't start today, they're not gonna start tomorrow given the holiday Thursday. Said they'd knock it out in 2 days.
