Happy Birthday SOB.

I have an ash tree the damned borers killed. The focal and shade point for the back yard, and it overhangs my oven and the house. Not cool. This is gonna get spendy.

Thanks, sir. Yeah we had an ash in the front yard didn't want to get rid of, but it was poised towards collapsing on the garage. Mrs Beach refused to let me do it myself. Good looks and brains with that woman.

had a feeling that dog wasn't going to end well...but you guys prolly gave it the best chance...

hope the next one can bring more joy to your wife and you, Bro!

None of them will end well. I mean, we're pretty much guaranteed that any animal we get will die before we do (unless you like turtles or parrots, or are already old).... she wants to take care of senior/hospice dogs, which shortens the window of opportunity to die before the animal significantly.

This is why I like fish.

She said she doesn't want another until after we have gone on a honeymoon, whenever that is. Mainly because it's hard to find people to take good care of dogs that aren't in good health.

My father likely has no idea what to do with himself, up until recently he was working 6 days a week. But we'll see.

I'd like to do a song of great social and political import. It goes like this.

Happy bday to me. Happy bday to me
Been 4.4 decades, and there's pain in my knees
(You'll have to imagine the singing voice. Hint: it's angelic)

Having talked with you for a couple of hours, I have a hard time imagining a tenor’s voice coming outta that mouth. [gonzo]

Thanks all. Was a good day overall with only low point being a necessary round of leaf clearing before the rain rolled in.

I sang it an octave lower. They did actually make me sing tenor in high school, but was much more comfortable as a baritone. Yeah, I was Glee before Glee was cool.

Night of the crazies at work.

I don't know where they find these people. The stories I wish I could tell.
