Rough cold going around pre peak flu season at least around here. Took me 10 days to shake it. Wife was beat up for a week. Kid was fevered and coughing for a hair over 2 weeks but didn't seem to mind.

Its a blustery day outside. Happy windsday piglet

Heard a loud crash about 30 minutes back. Went outside to see if another idiot drove into my ditch/the neighbors tree (missing bark o one side due to the frequency of people driving into it 8ft from the road)

No cars.

Neighbors garage smooshed flat from a giant oak falling over.

Thanks sob, thanks Dan... We're doing Tylenol/ibuprofen switch off plus Zofran because she couldn't keep the pills down plus liquid antibiotic for an ear infection...

Wife let me sleep in the living room last night and took the night shift with baby girl... I don't think she was ever asleep for longer than 30 minutes...

Wife's gonna have a tough one at work, but I'm grateful she lets me be rested and well to take care of the kids... Really rough when you're taking care of sick children and you get sick yourself... Like being stuck in a tornado and someone hands you a fan...

Plus, huge Armenian thanksgiving tomorrow, and although I likely won't be in attendance on account of baby girl, I promised desserts...

Holiday season, buddy... and I got no kids at home.

I had to mandate people to work and I damn sure wasn't going to sit at home after telling some of my guys they had to come in. Slightly softens the blow when you say, "I have to mandate you to work Thanksgiving... but I'll be here with you".

I worked that team for a few years (Wed-Sat) so they always have a big party. We have 4 turkeys and 4 hams... plenty of sides and desserts... and the kitchen will help us prep everything.

Came back from Finger Lakes with a cold. First one I have had in years. Felt better after just 2-3 days but the hacking cough went on for many weeks after.

Hope she feels better soon Opi.

Daughter's finally sleeping... Thanks all for the well wishes...

Managed to get a couple of cheesecakes done... Also managed to (probably) royally screw one up... I screw up a lot of things but not usually cheesecake...

Off to the grocery store for more cream cheese...

Memo was released today. The Sheriff has authorized beards and goatees.

Nary a gray hair on my head... but my beard is damn near all white.
