I had to mandate people to work and I damn sure wasn't going to sit at home after telling some of my guys they had to come in. Slightly softens the blow when you say, "I have to mandate you to work Thanksgiving... but I'll be here with you".

I worked that team for a few years (Wed-Sat) so they always have a big party. We have 4 turkeys and 4 hams... plenty of sides and desserts... and the kitchen will help us prep everything.

Rough cold going around pre peak flu season at least around here. Took me 10 days to shake it. Wife was beat up for a week. Kid was fevered and coughing for a hair over 2 weeks but didn't seem to mind.
