Are those something you toss when you're done since they're relatively inexpensive? I know the stems are disposable, just wasn't sure if there was any value in passing the actual pipes on to others... I was about to throw around half a dozen of them away but figure I should check first...

I have one I’ve used for 8 years which I have no intention of ever tossing. And Forever stems aren’t disposable FWIW

Depends on how sentimental you are about them? Google:

How long will a corn cob pipe last?
“As long as you let them dry out every once in a while, they will last for years and years.” Some customers have told him they've smoked the same corn cob pipe for as many as 20 years."

You must be a biter. I should dig out my old cobs to see what kind of shape they are in - haven't smoked with one in over 20 years.

Get the little rubber bite tips to put over the end if you're a biter.

I tend to hold em in the same spot and my teeth eventually made it through a few stems. Got the rubbers and haven't bit through in many years. I don't think I've bought a new cob for at least 5 years.

But to answer your question, no. Nobody buys estate cobs.

I love my cobs and would never part with them...….they just get better with age.My MM Eggs are my show pieces since they are HTF these days......only the Country Gentleman comes close in providing that much pipe smoking pleasure and they are still obtainable.

I had given up on my briar pipe year or more ago, everyone kept talking about cobs, picked up that MM Legend last month. Wish I would’ve years ago so enjoyable and easier than the briar I have. The MM plant is about 1.5 maybe little more from me, never knew that. On the list to check out some weekend.

I have or had a forever stem on a country gentleman. It was in the camper for a few years and now it seems to be missing.

Rubbers work great.

I can get the MM Legend for 4.26 at local liquor/tobacco store. Think I’m gonna pick a couple extra’s up.

I have a MM Mizzou I really enjoy, small bowl good 15-20 min smoke
