RIP to him and the other 8 that passed.

He was a big fan and promoter of women's basketball and the Uconn team in particular, even traveling across the country to attend a game with his daughter. She wanted to play for Uconn and he liked the teamwork the team used. Uconn is playing team USA tonight and they have some kind of a tribute planned.
