he changed a lot of minds about him by how he conducted himself during the last few years with a struggling mediocre team....and especially the kinds of work he did after retiring...

many consider him the best Laker ever, and that's saying a lot...

^ yup. Always hated his act when he was young, hated his greatness later as a Blazers fan......didn’t care for what he did in Littleton OR the treatment HE got from it. He handled that attention with grace, like he did most everything from there on. His next career was booming and he also did a LOT for female basketball players too (see Oregon’s all American). Other than being a Laker, he did much good in his life that is now getting to be known because of his death.

What Cuban did was a class act, honestly wouldn’t bother me if every team retired his number.
