Cleaning the basement. Its been a few years...

Paperwork from when I bought wife's car still sitting on my desk. Didn't realize I was paying 8% interest.

Online application and a phone call, got that refinanced to 4%.

Already hauled out one garbage can full of stuff. Think there's gonna be several. I'm in a purging mood.

I grew up in RI. Winter was not a favorite.

Left at 17, never went back. Been living in more temperate climates since... and I like it.

Snowing here again. Pretty hard.... half-inch buildup over the past hour.

And it'll continue until this evening, when temps will drop to about 15F.

Gonna be a mess tomorrow

Just took a load of cardboard and wood stuff out to the burn pit and lit it. Chickens fed n watered. Need to clean the coop but can't get the tractor out with the snow. It's above freezing so it's a snow/mud mix I'd just get stuck.

Problem with the cold is it gets balls-cold in the warehouse.
Hell the office barely is maintaining 65.

And I've got to spend time in the warehouse today testing out some configurations.

Goddammit.

I don't get cold. Ever. I've never owned a winter coat. I'm the palest Irishman you'll ever meet. I was built for cold. I sleep with a window open all year round and a fan blowing on me. My wife sleeps under 5 comforters and flannel pj's. That's what she gets for being from a desert people.... I don't think the Jews were lost for 40 years.... they were just enjoying the weather.

But there are too many idiots out there that think they're invulnerable in their trucks. News Flash? 4wd doesn't help on ice. And just because you can go, doesn't mean you can stop. DOH! 🤦
