I'd say the markets are extremely important and yes we are heading in the right direction...…….Thanks to good leadership.
I still say travel restrictions are common sense.

Trump's initial focus was on the numbers, not the fear of the people for their health and safety...his was talking about fixes for financial emergencies, like Obama did in 2009, but this is a whole nuther crisis...
once he started to focus on the public health fixes and helping affected Americans, the fear subsided somewhat...the economy will fluctuate based on what the virus does and how people react...the world still wants to see American leadership, which was lacking until some signs of it occurred last Thu night and Fri ...
if we did immediate and effective travel restrictions, just as the numbers of infected people in other countries started to rise, and before our rate of infection started, maybe would have done something, but hard to say...
if it was effective, it would've collapsed the economy, shutting down trade, and creating a huge outcry as the millions of Americans overseas and foreigners in country demanded to return home...
that's what a total travel ban looks like...not the partial one like we implemented, where citizens can return, and people can get around it by going to countries not restricted and flying here...
