They are overwhelmed. (Not answering phones OR responding to emails regarding orders, etc.)
This in turn, is resulting in a scammer’s paradise.
I don’t know why they simply just postpone ALL applications for new accounts until this blows over.
I almost got scammed, but figured it out in a few minutes, and successfully cancelled the order.

If you are using a debit card, watch out. If you don’t cancel almost immediately, you’ll be on the hook for the $$, and who knows how long before you can get a refund from Amazon.

Fake seller?

Yeah, and I got lazy......for about 2 minutes.........and almost got caught with my pants down.

So I went back,and Amazon has nixed their account.
But, it took 5 days, possibly more, and over 30 people screaming via 1 star ratings..........many of them got hosed because they used debit cards.
Scammer sent out bogus tracking numbers, put up bogus 5 star ratings, and all the typical scammy chit.

Well....

You open yourself up to scammers who would love to make your lives easier...doing your chores for $$$... Then take all of your money...waaaaaa waaaaaa waaaaaa...
