Stanford recently announced they were developing a rapid test to detect antibodies from the virus...

When they announced it I told my wife I thought maybe officials were lending credence to the idea the virus has somehow gotten here earlier than we'd thought...

Apparently that's what they're now saying, officials believe the virus swept through here last fall...

And that's why California's is seeing so few deaths compared to new York... Many of us have had it...

My son was home sick for 10 days in December... My daughter was home a week... My father in law ended up in the hospital with pneumonia that wouldn't go away, and I caught a Virus that changed my body completely...

Nothing is proven but I would not doubt it if they come back with results showing California was the starting point for the US back in fall 2019...

The tests are “serological,” and could determine whether someone has developed antibodies to the coronavirus. In theory, those who develop immunity may be able to safely interact with others without catching or spreading it.

seems the genome of the corona virus running rampant in NY matches that of those in Europe, like the virus on the west coast matches the Chinese virus, so that seems to fit in the timeline...west coast first from China...east coast later from Europe...

but begs the question: why does it appear to lurk in a less virulent stage for a month or two, then explode into a contagion?

Not sure it does. You guys are extrapolating a whole lot from very little information.

This appears to be a VERY virulent virus. It is great at it's job in that respect. I find it very difficult to believe it ended up in so many different places without people having a direct reason for it, without there being a significant uptick in hospitals. I mean, NYC literally is keeping bodies in refrigerated trucks and discussing temporary burials in parks.... if it ran through our communities previously we would have at least seen a blip on the hospital radar.

Yesterday the IHME downgraded their COVID19 death toll prediction model from over 200,000 to just 60,000. Similar to a bad flu season. I had to really search to find any reference to this, as the MSM seems to have ignored this story completely, as it doesn't fit their doom and gloom narrative. Even after the revised IHME model was released, MSNBC had a Biden advisor on, who claimed hundreds of thousands would die, and that the lockdown needed to last 12 to 18 months.

The IHME model, the british model... pretty much all the models are "revising". And the government says it's because we social distanced!

And then they tell you correlation does not equal causation when it comes to chloroquine.

Again Victor does not understand the difference between broadcasting doom and gloom for 24/7, and a 2 minute mention of the revised IHME report. Wow, it was briefly mentioned, while proclaiming doom and gloom for the other 23 hours and 58 minutes, so that proves they are not bias. SMH.

..... how are you getting your news? Do you have cable news on all the time?
I mean... most people get the news off the internet these days. So the "2 minute mention" is kind of odd. An internet article lasts forever. There's no time involved in it.

Hell, I won't even look at a news story if it's an embedded video. Someone telling you something you could easily read doubles how long it takes.
