Not to split hairs, but your argument. You are referring to something fascinating with ligo. But 2 event horizons are not comparable to the outer edge of the known universe. Also your magnitude is wrong. When you think Ligo, think in persecs. When you think outer edge think megapersecs. To the best of my knowledge, which granted we are streching here, Ligo gravitational wave mesurments to date are about 50 and always deal with event horizons. So I ask you, what does this have to do with general, it seems solely relative in nature.
