I strolled out on the porch this morning for my monthy "shearing". That is.....I grab my clippers and a big mirror and cut my hair and beard down to 1/8".

Halfway through i feel a pinch and notice the 1/8" spacer has come off the clippers and now I have a spot on myhead cut significantly shorter.

So now my head, for all practical purposes is shaved.

This has happened before. I have always wanted to invest in a professional quality set of clippers, but I can't seem to locate any oter than the run of the mill Wahl/Oster types. Any suggestions??

Had a similar thing happen to me once with a Wahl beard trimmer...So, I've had a beard for 23 yeas minus about a month.

when you are bald, you will look back at this small annoyance with a smile on your face, visible only through the beard you will grow to compensate for your bald head.

No matter how hard I try, I always cut a section of Tank's hair shorter. (cause there isn't anythin' there)

He tells everyone he cuts it that way.

I do the same but have never had the #1 guard pop off. When I cut my boy's hair last month I left the guard off - mom was quite surprised but they loved it.

See if you have a "Sally's" close by. It's a lady's beauty shop supply, open to the public, and they carry many types of haircutting clippers, cheap to very high dollar.
