Lapsang Souchong is basically the tea version of Latakia pipe tobacco.

They taste close to identical, except one you drink, and one you smoke.


Try Latakia pipe tobacco and you'll be in instant love forever, then. No pipe? Buy a $5-10 Missouri Meerschaum brand corn cob pipe. Trust me, if you love the tea, you'll go ape-schitt over Latakia pipe tobacco.

(Like all pipe tobacco though, learn to pack it right, and learn how to not smoke too slow so it goes out, or too fast so it burns your tongue, etc. Takes practice).

It is similar to the smoke from Latakia tobacco. I did enjoy smoking english moistures that had a good portion of Latakia, in spite of the bitching about the smell from coworkers. 🤐
