It's what it is. It's small inside cuz of the innards that keep temps a long time. I used one years ago when we used to go to a remote beach in Mexico and there was no way of getting more ice for 3-4 days. It was the only thing that still had ice after 2 days even though we wrapped the others in wet burlap and kept them in the shade.

Yeah, they definitely serve a purpose. But I've never found myself unable to get ice. Unwilling due to great inconvenience, yes. Which is why I bought a generator and portable fridge. Our festival events can mean 2 hours of waiting in lines to get ice. But it can be had.

But my main cooler use is in transit from home to destination, then it goes in the camper fridge or the truck fridge. Beer n stuff stays in coolers, but a yeti wouldn't really have a leg up in that game with the lid opened every 20 minutes.

Twice a year when I cater our biggest events, I do need cold storage for 3 days beyond what I can fit in the fridge for a couple hundred pounds of meat. But there's ice on site i charge to the event.

I still want one to have one, but I don't want an undersized one that I can't really use. If I do get one, has to be at least as big as my regular coolers. The one I bought was the size of two lunchboxes inside.

Crunchwrap Supreme copies turned out fantastic.

Roasted some poblanos, steamed n peeled em.

Quick seared some garlic, tomato and onion. Just a flash fry.

Homemade pinto beans smeared on a large burrito tortilla, then seasoned ground beef and drizzled with canned cheese sauce. Painted a tostada with sour cream and put on top of the meat. Shredded iceberg lettuce, chihuahua cheese, cilantro, and sprinkled with the flash fried veggies. Top with a regular tortilla, fold up the sides and put in cast iron skillet to seal up.

Its no taco bell, but it was damn good. Too many wet veggies tho, the tostada lost its crunch. Lettuce carried the load tho.

Should've stuffed em with my pico. Made a batch but forgot to even take it out for dinner.

Dozen habaneros, stripped - if you pull the seeds and cut out the placenta, they're actually fairly mild and super fruity. Dice em up.

Red onion diced, 3 garlic cloves diced, whole cilantro bunch diced, two or three plum tomatoes diced, and mix up with 8 ish limes smashed for juice n pulp.

Salt n stir.

Good chit.

No sub. They're truly mild and fruity if seeds and placenta are fully stripped. I've shared this recipe many times with no complaints

Limes, just enough mashed to give about 1/4" coverage of ingredients in the bowl. This sack was pretty immature and not much juice, used 10.

Thank you, Brothers. From the usual dark, cold, bottom of my heart- thank you.

Candidly, I was too fearful to even check back in last night.

The reset and the morning sun will keep me moving forward. Taking life a couple hours at a time.

Up and out soon. New routine is up no later than 4:30 each day so I can get a hike or walk in before the sun gets too high and I have to hide under a rock like the lizards. Glad I'm retired and can get a nap later if needed.

Happy Saturday worker types.

Slugish and sleepy, but I am not doing bad with the new medicine. My hand tremors are noticeably improved. Last week I ate rice off a plate with a fork (as opposed to a bowl and soup spoon). ! Thanks for asking...

No. I did go the Day Drinking route today. Sunny cold dog walks seem to be better with Bloody Mary’s.
