Arbery will be portrayed as a criminal, having past encounters with the law, and who matches the description of a person suspected of committing recent burglaries in the area...the fact that Arbery went through a house under construction and was running away just moments before he was shot and killed will be mentioned alongside the recent burglary reports... the defense will be Arbery deserved to be killed

Look at the information presented in the letter from Waycross DA George Barnhill to the Glynn County PD. He'd already recused himself due to a conflict, but nevertheless wrote "there is "insufficient probable cause to issue arrest warrants at this time." (I'm not sure why a conflicted prosecutor is offering an opinion, but that's a question for another day.) He's clearly trying to protect the suspects, which to me indicates any statements against their interests are reliable, yet the fact pattern he sets forth is damning. It's telling when the guy trying to save your azz ends up providing enough rope...
