Any way to use a foreign credit card or Paypal?

I have a shippinf forwarder with a US address, so that part is taken care of but after bidding on a couple auctions it seems I won't be able to pay for them because I only have a foreign credit card registered to an address in the UK.

NO ! Why don't you get a US credit card and drive companies in the UK crazy - but for now just go away.

There is a way. But figuring it out is proof of age.

You're in the UK and you don't want to pay the exorbitant prices on cigars due to ridiculous taxes because of socialized medicine and such?

Say it isn't so!!

Didn’t read that part.

Actually I'm a Brit living in Japan with a UK card wanting to buy cigars from America; a right **** I admit but I meant no hassle. For your information, we don't have socialised medicine here but import tax on tobacco products is ridiculously expensive as to protect the Japanese tobacco companies and the mark up from private sellers is even worse!
Didn't realise it would be a problem especially seeing as I'd sorted out a forwarding company. Was no problem for me to take orders from Americans for my business. Anyway, if it's too much hassle, I'll kindly **** off, but thought I'd check first.

There was someone else posting about difficulties getting them to ship to a forwarding service.

I'd say just order from a cigar retailer, not auction site. Cbid has been overloaded lately as evidenced by all the posts about customer service attempts and shipping delays etc.

But Macs said it had to do with the UK health system.

Kidding aside I have no idea how to help you.

Just to give you a taste of what it's like here.

I'm not even trying to dodge the tax. With the high tax, the price still won't come anywhere close to $250... Well at least I don't think so from what I've managed to research so far. My first purchase is kind of a test to find out.

Cigar International accept PayPal, so maybe I'll try them. Thanks for your help, especially MAC.

Can’t you order from some of the sites in Switzerland and some areas around you outside Japan? That’s what some in here do to avoid US prohibitions and taxes.

Yes, there are a couple shops running out of Hong Kong but they seem a fair bit higher than the American sites still. Good place to get Cubans perhaps, but not fantastic deals. If anyone has any recommendations, I'd be grateful.

I think I my have found a solution; use a VISA gift card and register the forwarding address as my billing address.
