Delta, it isn't about level of support. I support BLM, though the name really should be BLMT. I don't tolerate white supremacists. Also are black supremacists part of BLM? Or are they just scumbags of a different color?

What it is about is constitutional rights. Every American has the same ones. If we choose to ignore that we are no longer a nation of law. How is the constitution interpreted? That is open to debate. That everyone whether you love the or hate them has the same rights is not open for debate.

agreed, but the 2nd Amendment folks, for the most part, say their purpose for armed existence is to fight a tyrannical government...

some of them protested in MI, VA and MD over stay at home orders and a number of 2nd Amendment supporters here said they were alright with that...they were exercising their 1st Amendment rights...OK, I'm fine, but question the need for a public display of armed resistance while protesting...increases the chance of bad things happening

then POTUS threatens to use the US military to stop Americans from protesting, exercising their 1st Amendment rights...he used police and National Guard troops to push peaceful protesters out of the way, so he could walk to a church a block away so he could hold up a Bible and have his picture taken...

in a gesture that re-affirms our faith in the military not being a part of a tyrannical government (for the time being), leaders of the military in the WH administration and past military leaders condemned Trump's actions and said the US military will not be used to deny American citizens the right to exercise their Constitutional rights, that the mission of the US Military is to defend the Constitution, not to serve the POTUS...

2nd Amendment folks SEE and HEAR the POTUS threaten the very thing that is their reason for being...silence

then, a 2nd Amendment guy in New Mexico confronts some protesters and gets knocked down...he comes up shooting and hits a protester...silence...

I suspect that if Trump did send in the US military to dominate the cities and take away millions of American's 1st Amendment rights, the 2nd Amendment guys would take a knee...
