So far I've tried the LFG Ligero Cabinet (love) and Double Ligero chisel (a bit too much for me).

I recently picked up a LFD Chapter 1 and a Chapter 2 and wonder how is stacks up on strength, essentially are they stronger than the Double Ligero?

Have you tried double ligero? Where to these fall on the the full bodied/heaviness scale vs double ligero? ie- is chapter 1 and 2 a little lighter than the double ligero? Is it more in range with the normal ligero cabinet?

The DL chisel has a stronger, denser, less complex profile. It’s a strong cigar where as the Chapter series isn’t the azz kicker that the DL is. The thing is though the Chapter 1&2 aren’t really that complex, much like every other LG outside the LG and SB series they’re pretty one dimensional. Now I love me some LFD and enjoy the Colorado Oscuro and Cabinet series immensely, but those are both pretty one dimensional. LFD are unique in that they’re a powerhouse Dominican, much more so than Opus X. Strong cigars are much harder to blend into a complex cigar IMO, I would recommend LaNox and La Volcada over the Chisels.

Thank you Sir for the recommendations. With a preference for good flavor/full bodied cigars, so far I really love the Ligero Cabinet. I hope the LaNox and Volcada is up there with it, I'll add to my list.

Before trying the Double Ligero Chisel, I had a few drinks over the holiday and really loved it. I tried it again last night and it was too much for me on an average day.

All LFD's are good some are just better than others. My favorite to date is the La Nox petit, well aged L-250's and L-200 Oscuro's are damn hard to beat. When I'm in the mood for raw strength I have a DL-452.........with a 3-5 years on them they are delicious.

I dig the Double-ligero. But Z pretty much covered it. The LaNox is a quality smoke.

LFD double ligero is my go to cigar. Of course the LG small batch are fantastic, just out of the budget for anything other than a special occasion.

If you find any, the DL Oscuro Lanceros are excellent.

I smoked the Chapter 1 this weekend and loved it. I'd put it right under the Ligero in terms of full body, and it was most excellent.

I was thinking about this post over the weekend with a lancero, i think a smaller diameter might cut back on the double ligero chisel's heaviness a bit for my tastes. I normally smoke a toro-sized Davidoff Late Hour and love it but I picked up a 5-pack of the Late Hour Church Hills however I didn't quite enjoy it as much tasting a bit on the lighter side.

S.A wrapper so I’m not gonna bite on that Davidoff.

What does SA wrapper mean? Also to clarify I like the toro sized late hour vs the thinner church hill ring size. i didnt think it would be that dramatic of a difference but it is 🍺

Smoked the Chapter 2 tonight. Definetly prefer the Chapter 1 which I would buy again. Just picked up three 5 pack LFG Ligero Cabinets and a 5 pack of Liga Privada T52 with my platinum membership. La Nox is definitely on my try list, thanks!
