I have undergone memory/ADD testings and went through a full battery, four hour IQ/neuropsychological exam after having encephalitis. The test he took is a joke to represent as anything more than what it was- a test for alzheimer's patients, not an IQ test. You can't make stuff up that is as good as Trump on this one!

but, but...the doctors told him no one ever remembers that many words 20 minutes later! They were astounded.

sadly, I'm only paraphrasing, not being inaccurately sarcastic.

It's not even a good con act anymore.

Ok... did you think he was gonna do something different than he has been doing for about 20 years? Trolling people... i understand if you don't like that in the president, but that zebra has stripes and has never once attempted to hide them...

the only surprise is the continued shock from people that he isn't acting fake af like we've grown accustomed to our politicians doing... he will never act "presidential"... he will never stop poking fun at those he disagrees with... he will never stop trolling... i understand you'll never like it, but you gotta stop biting...

as a fisherman I can tell you, when the bite is consistent, you don't move to a different spot...

way off.

I loved the guy for decades...not in a way respecting his unsavory, unethical actions like his business M.O. of not paying bills, not honoring contracts, but rather the way one loves a con man. The fact that he conned the TV viewing public years later (before politics) into believing he was really a self made billionaire was one of the great second act scams of all time.

I was in an industry that had more than it's share of con men in it, and there was something about them that made people love to listen to them. Some listeners found the preposterous stories of self inflation entertaining, but sadly many were drawn in and bought in...several even to the point of literally losing their houses.

They hunted their prey, searching for people that "haven't heard The Story". Once in the home pitching the incredible exclusive deal, if the prospect seemed to believe The Story, The Story would get even bigger and more incredible and the price would go up astronomically.

That's the real Art of the Deal.

those being fooled are those refusing to believe they've been conned, those that continue to believe The Story.

so, no. I did not expect him to do something different than he has always done.
I knew.
I knew it was all a lie and bluster and that he'd be all over the place and in over his head.

I didn't get fooled.
I didn't vote for him either.

I had heard The Story already.

If you're an American and you've ever voted for someone who successfully became president, you've participated in the con... believing Biden is somehow a better or different option than Trump is the same as buying into the con, you just bought the other side of it...

most, perhaps all presidential wanna be's have oversized egos. Most, if not all will knowingly lie as in distort numbers and the like. Perhaps tell personal stories that are exaggerated.
Most, perhaps all people have done the same as needed to get from here to there.

But most people are not flat out con men, grifters, cheaters...con men can sleep at night doing things the rest of the population (AKA: "suckers" as taught by Fred Trump Sr. to his offspring) would feel pangs of guilt for doing.

You've known about him for 20 years. This behavior predates his TV stardom by several decades.

His current strategy appears to be to let Trump just be Trump, and to be careful while he (Biden) is winning. So, he probably believes he shouldn't change the way he is doing things right now.

It's like lawyers and litigants on TV who are constantly being told by TV judges to keep their mouth shut when they are winning (most lawyers/people can't do this- its like a real skill).

Historically, incumbent presidents running for reelection come out of the white house and start campaigning in ernest after their party's convention. And realistically, probably 98.2% of voters already know who they will be voting for- and those who haven't made up their minds will do so in the last couple days before the election, if not while standing in line to vote. Whatever goes on (or doesn't go on) right now is of little consequence to the final outcome.

BTW, I seriously doubt Biden or Trump are using much if any advertising money in California because it is a solid blue state so you don't see much of the what is going on elsewhere. Florida, on the other hand appears to be in play and we are bombarded by campaign ads 24/7 from both candidates.

YMMV.

With zero percent of the precincts reporting, CNN is now declaring Biden the winner in California. Also all tax increase initiatives passed.
