anybody know who Jim Ostrowski is? He's not prominently mentioned as a leading thinker of the progressive philosophy...not even mentioned as a major critic of the movement...

"I spent forty years trying to change things through the political process and by writing hundreds of articles that, in my opinion, diagnosed problems and proposed workable solutions. The response, not only to my modest efforts but to the whole liberty movement, was a yawn. People did not listen. They did not want to hear it."

I know Jim personally, he's a local guy. He's right, I was there with him for a time and the focus was greatly on local and state issues.
The majority of people are afraid of change, even when it would be change for the better. They are more comfortable with the status quo even it it works against their best interests. How else do you explain the current condition of New York State, the Progressive crap hole that it is? How do you explain Governor and Prince, Andrew Cuomo. He's another fake Catholic like Biden and Pelosi. Cuomo's political inspiration is Niccolò Machiavelli, you know "the end justifies the means" guy. Prince Andrew is a cold calculating Machiavellian, the source of his political philosophy is not an exaggeration or hyperbole.

I found it most telling how easily conservatives could be suckered. When he was on TV everyday giving out specious statistics, barking out orders, and looking like he's got a grip on this Corona thing, even conservatives gave him a 80% approval rating for his political theatre. That was before the revelations of the nursing home tragedies and who done it.
When he ran out of stuff to talk about, he might talk about his mothers meatballs or show off a collage he made of hundreds of homemade masks sent to him, he calls "A Self Portrait of America".
