my son Josiah has a friend named Alice... Alice got really sick a couple weeks ago... they thought maybe allergies, maybe sinus infection...

Last weekend, she went from bad to worse... she started having breathing problems, threw up, and declined overall... so she went to the emergency room...

Turns out she has type 1 diabetes... her sugars were 550's and should've been at 77... not good...

Thankfully, she's making a full recovery and is set to come home any day now!

Unfortunately, when she puked, she apparently did so into her container of barbies, none of which could be salvaged...

My proposal: we want to make it rain brand new barbies on this little 7 year old girl whose life is changing significantly... if you want to help, send me a new barbie from Amazon or target or wherever and I'll send you a 5er out of my next cigar order... i don't know what that will be but I like to think I don't smoke sh*tty cigars anymore, so it should be something good...

I actually hate to ask this question but I'm serious...*sigh* Does the little girl have a color preference in her Barbies? I found a Marine Biologist Barbie with a little penguin that looks like something little girls would like and presents a positive role model but she's dark skinned.

In attempts to prevent doubles, this is what I have heading his way via Amazon.

- Barbie Dreamtopia Royal Ball Princess Doll, Blonde Wearing Glittery Rainbow Ball Gown, with Brush and 5 Accessories
- Barbie Doll, Blonde, Wearing Riding Outfit with Helmet, and Light Brown Horse with Soft White Mane and Tail

All the used Barbies that my daughter outgrew were stripped naked and decapitated. I put them where ever I find those happy sun shiny painted rock things people placing around town and hunting for these days.
