on March 30, 2020, Trump said, "if we can keep the number of deaths between 100,000 to 200,000, we'll have done a good job."

Yesterday, he gave himself an A+ grade for his handling of the corona virus pandemic.

the number of Americans who've died from COVID19 went past 200,000, in less than 6 months...

You have not done a good job, by your own words, Mr. President.

but wouldn't the same logic make it ludicrous to give oneself an A+ when the country has far surpassed what he had set as the "great job" over/under?
Forget blame for a minute when thinking TDS, how much TDS does it take to take credit for not beating the numbers he set as the positive number?

If I failed miserably to meet a level I personally established as "pretty good", it would be lunacy for me to pat myself on the back with A+ as we watched that goal crumble and could even become far worse.

I'm not seeing any posts here blaming each death on any one person.
It's about the hubris to parade as a winner when falling far short of the self imposed positive goal.

Dr. Fauci announced that a vaccine could be available/distributed to all Americans by April 2021...

four different vaccines are at various stages of Phase Three trials in the US...Moderna, Pfizer BioNTech, Johnson & Johnson, and AstraZeneca Oxford....if the results are certified effective and safe and the vaccines are approved by the FDA, I'd strongly considered getting inoculated...

Over weight,heart and lung problems, diabetes and other pre-conditions all counted not as the primary purpose of deaths. C-19 as cause only not as the catalyst.

What are the numbers on these deaths only, just saying.

It's still less than the 1million+ that's what the know-it-alls first estimate were.
