Now this is how you do it! Swamp style!

USA—The Biden Cancer Initiative, a cancer charity founded by Joe Biden, gave out no donations to research, and instead spent most of its contributions on staff salaries and vacations, newly released tax filings show. The Biden Cancer Initiative was created by former vice President Joe Biden, after his oldest son, Beau Biden, passed away in 2015 due to complications from brain cancer.

The New York Post first reported that tax filings from The Biden Cancer Initiative show the charity amassed a total of $4,809,619 in donated contributions, but spent $3,070,301 on private funding such as salaries. Gregory Simon, a former Pfizer executive and president of The Biden Cancer Initiative, reportedly received $429,850 from donations during the 2018 fiscal year, according to the original report.

The Chief of Staff, Director of Communications, and the Direct of Science all received six figure salaries as well. An additional $58,738 was spent on conferences, and $59,356 was spent on travel expenses for staff.

The Biden Cancer Initiative’s mission statement states “The Biden Cancer Initiative will develop and drive implementation of solutions to accelerate progress in cancer prevention, detection, diagnosis, research and care, and to reduce disparities in cancer outcomes.” However, the tax filings also show no evidence that the charity contributed any funds for cancer research or cancer prevention.

In 2019, the Biden Cancer Initiative had to pause its operations due to Joe Biden’s entrance into the presidential race. The organization is still official and active, but has slowed down some of its operations.

that travel expense figure seems too low.
Prolly stayed at Holiday Inn Express instead of Trump Tower Moscow...

They can probably roll those salaries back 5-10% now if they are working from home.

The Bidens stacked the board with leading oncologists and celebrity cancer survivors, including musician Jimmy Gomez from the Black Eyed Peas.

After only two years, the charity “paused” its operations when Joe Biden and his wife stepped down for his presidential run.

Although the organization is still officially active, according to the IRS, Simon said in a 2019 interview that without the Bidens at the helm, the charity lost its edge.

“We tried to power through but it became increasingly difficult to get the traction we needed to complete our mission,”
he told the AP in July 2019.

Nice spin.

Without Biden the charity lost it's edge and became increasingly difficult to get traction.

😂

Translation: If we continued to rob from the charity while the old man was on the campaign trail, we might get caught with our hand in the cookie jar. All that money collected and not a SINGLE DIME was given out in grants.

Didn't you know that $5 million is nothing but start-up costs for a charity?
At least he filed his tax forms. [sarcasm]

So allegations of impropriety are promptly investigated on Trump (Mueller found none) and he's impeached if a dem operative accuses him of exactly what Biden did (and admitted to on camera)... but this... this is a nothing burger because Biden is a dem. His son's laptop? Pffft... he's a dem, no worries... who cares what's on there? 😂

The deeper you go down the rabbit hole of the Biden crime family, the more stinky it gets.
Six figure salaries for no show or part time jobs sounds about right for the mob.
Lock em up! [ram27bat]

if there was any wrongdoing, like was proven in a NY court about the Trump Foundation, it should be shut down, proceeds collected and distributed to debtors and the Foundation officials banned from charitable organizations for life.

Trump was also ordered to re-pay $2 Million to 8 charities that were defrauded...if Biden is similarly responsible, he should re-pay those debts...

fair is fair...

So just the same if wrong doing is proven (you fu**ing think it’s gonna be looked at?!!!) I can count on you blaming Joe even if he wasn’t at the helm of it?

And we can also expect monies to be paid back right?

in which state is this charity incorporated? It would be up to that state's AG to investigate and prosecute any fraud or illegal acts...or maybe an out-of-state donor who resides in a red state can file a claim to get the ball rolling...

if there has been any wrong-doing , file charges...poorly run charities are very common-place...and reflects poorly on the participants

there are many who bad mouth the American Red Cross, The Wounded Warrior Project, Goodwill and many, many more "poorly run" charities for excessive salaries, administrative expenses and low proportion of funds raised going to the purpose...

did you support the SDNY's investigation and civil actions vs the Trump Foundation, and the court's decision to shut it down and disburse its assets and order Trump to pay $2 million? Trump was at the helm of his Foundation...he has ultimate say over all his operations...he famously used $10 K of Foundation money to have a portrait of himself painted...

I'd be on-board with similar actions against Biden's charity, whether he was directly in charge or not.

There will be no investigation of this charity. This is all legal. This is how it’s done to move money and pay back some favors. Welcome back Swamp 2.0.

BINGO!

If it was a true charity foundation for a good cause and on the up and up, why would they suspend operations while Biden was peddling his shtick? Wouldn't it be something commendable that you'd want out there to prop up your image?

Nope. They shut it down and hopefully it would hide in the shadows.

"... without the Bidens at the helm, the charity lost its edge... We tried to power through but it became increasingly difficult to get the traction we needed to complete our mission."

Wouldn't any real charitable organization love to get presidential or first lady support? Wouldn't a real charitable organization gain some traction with his stamp of approval and sharpen it's edge to bring in more contributions if they really wanted to push it?

Nope. HOT POTATO... Shut it down!

You REALLY want to pretend that they had altruistic legal justice in mind? Seriously?
