Most charities spend most of what they get for administrative items and collecting contributions. It is always wise to look at how much of the contributions actually get to the cause of the charity.
The Trump charity was a joke, with some of the money going to bribes and nothing going to any charitable cause.

To date there has been no evidence of any criminal activity. I do believe our standard is still innocent untill proven guilty. That applies to all of us, not just who we like. Public opinion be damned. To be clear, I am speaking about both Trump and Biden. Posting about Trump and Russia is stupid. He never colluded. Posting about Biden never distributing money is stupid. That was not ever in their mission statement. Essentially their mission was to facilitate cancer advances though putting the right people together and opening doors. If you will cancer lobbyists. When Biden chose to run for president he chose to close the charity due to potential ethical conflicts.

There will be no investigation of this charity. This is all legal. This is how it’s done to move money and pay back some favors. Welcome back Swamp 2.0.

That's exactly right, these political class charities only exist to ensure that loyal apparatchiks don't have to suffer the indignity of earning an honest dollar. They give a whole new meaning to the word "charity"

And, just like the Clinton (Criminal) Foundation, the democrat comrades will enjoy another piss shower and ask for more.

Agreed. It was a lobbyist endeavor supported by charitable contributions none of which were ever intended to be distributed for any grants. A lobbyist cause created by the Vice President to feed money to some of his cronies. Meanwhile, on the campaign trail, he tries to sell himself as someone working your the average Joe, the common man, the middle class...

When Biden chose to run for president he chose to close the charity due to potential ethical conflicts.

If there are no potential conflicts, why shut it down? Again, wouldn't having him as a figure head help the cause? He doesn't have to be directly involved. Cut all personal and business ties to it but keep it running and add wind to it's sails so it can succeed in facilitating cancer research. Kinda like Biden's Habitat for Humanity that Carter has endorsed. It could have been a lobbing arm to bring in funds to support and align with other cancer causes but it's not.

That is not and never was it's intent. It was to funnel money into the pockets of his buddies. Let's call it like it is.

Ok, scanned this thread...

Politics is a dirty game, politicians are dirty people, and charitable organizations are chess pieces.

K, glad we figured out that our political system is still working correctly.

Per snopes:

In mid-November 2020, following on the heels of U.S. President-elect Joe Biden’s electoral victory, a number of news outlets ran stories reporting that the charity founded by Biden and his wife, Jill, the Biden Cancer Initiative, which suspended its operation in 2019, spent β€œmillions” on salaries but nothing on cancer research.

For example, the Russian state-funded propaganda outlet RT’s headline read, β€œBiden’s cancer charity raked in millions but spent NOTHING on medical research, tax filings show.” Fox Business ran with a headline declaring, β€œTax filings reveal Biden cancer charity spent millions on salaries, zero on research.”

The British tabloid Daily Mail had its own version of the same story, as did the New York Post, and the Post’s story was tweeted by U.S. President Donald Trump to his nearly 89 million followers.

These stories are misleading because they give the appearance of malfeasance by falsely framing certain facts, namely the organization’s mission. The Biden Cancer Initiative wasn’t a research grant-giving organization, which is why it didn’t grant funds toward cancer research. This information is readily available on the charity’s website.

Under the β€œFrequently Asked Questions” section of the organizations website, you can find the query, β€œIs the Biden Cancer Initiative a grant-giving organization?”

This is true. They never intended to distribute any money. All of the money they received went straight into the pockets of the employees and for their "business" expenses.

Looks like they left a little over $7k behind in net assets though. Probably a rounding error on their part or maybe they had a few outstanding checks that hadn't cleared before they filed the tax forms.

The left leaning snopes.comβ€”Fair and Balanced?

Snopes conclusion:
https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/biden-cancer-charity/

What's True
The Biden Cancer Initiative, a charity founded by U.S. President-elect Joe Biden and soon-to-be first lady Jill Biden in 2017, spent more than $3 million on salaries when it was in operation.

What's False
Although the charity spent no money on cancer research grants, this fact is misleadingly framed in that the Biden Cancer Initiative wasn't a grant-giving organization.

That's some serious fact checking there folks. None of us could of done that.[-(
snopes defers to the Biden Cancer Initiative for an explanation as to what they actually do...

Q: What is the mission of the Biden Cancer Initiative?

The Biden Cancer Initiative will develop and drive implementation of solutions to accelerate progress in cancer prevention, detection, diagnosis, research, and care, and to reduce disparities in cancer outcomes.

Q: Is the Biden Cancer Initiative a grant-giving organization?

No. The Biden Cancer Initiative will largely not be a grant-giving organization and will accomplish its mission through convening, connecting partners, catalyzing new actions, and providing venues to discuss progress and develop new actions and collaborations.

Ya, it's all clear as mud now.
