I recently purchased some new cigars and realize I don't have room for them..

I don't suppose any of you have had the same problem? [sarcasm]

I'm thinking tupperdor. Any suggestions? Brands? Where to buy? Walmart? Target? Meier? Amazon? Home Depot? Menards?

I know there are prolly a gazillion posts about this, but I'm not interested in searching through 500 of
them to look for products that most likely aren't in production any more..

If you have some recent experience, please feel free to share...

Thanks..

clintCigar recently suggested these, and I bought some, but haven't tried them yet. Going to load one up today.

1 and 2 gallon heavy duty zip lock freezer bags, not the kind with the sliding tabs though.
Toss in a boveda or two. Toss the bag in a cool dark place like a drawer in an extra dresser.

Rfenster told me about this many years ago and even when I had collected over 500 cigars a few years back I had them all stored this way, including boxes.
All in drawers in a dresser in an extra bedroom.

Never had an issue.

Ziploc bags are underrated. I've kept cigars in bags for months, no problem. I always double bagged cause, well, they're cheap and it can't hurt.

Yes, I actually did that first.. There are many many many threads that mention "tupperdor" and looking through them is kind of an ordeal.
I figger it won't hurt to ask, but I guess I was wrong because I suddenly feel so hurt right now.

Thanks!

TY for the suggestion LeeBot. The baggie thing won't work this time, I got boxes coming and I like to keep em in boxes until it's just a waste of space..

Iris work great as well. 74 quart. Sealing lid. I have one stacked tight with two 320 bovedas. Holds amazingly well.

You can get them at Home Depot for under 25 bucks. I highly recommend them because I am using one and have experience with it. Real good

I also use a Weathertight 6 buckle storage container with a half pound of 65 RH Heartfelt beads....use it to store boxes(15-20 depending on size), and it works great...got it when I filled up a Montague end table humidor, three desk tops from 25 to 75 to 150 cigars, and four tupperdors with snap lids...all are now full...

my name is delta and I have CAD...

Thanks Jake and Delta... I actually wouldn't mind something bigger, I'm thinking of just storing my desktops in it as well instead of trying to keep the RH adjusted. ... Long as I'm gonna have the extra room, why not..

That is exactly what I have, plus a 9 quart for overflow.

It's been several years since I've had both of those at capacity.
