had a '70 Road Runner with the 383, all stock...be cool to get one to hot rod standard, but if we're talking dream hot rod........

I remember seeing a '75 Lamborghini Countach on the street in Hollywood....wanted one ever since...

I also am a big fan of the '63-'67 Corvette Stingrays, with the split rear windows...classic American hot rod...I'd want the 427 big block engine...

I think 63 are the only split windows delta. Some where in those years knock off wheels were available instead of lug nuts. 1983 are the rare ones. 🙂

He is correct. The '63 is the only split window. Visability was very poor so it was discontinued. The 427 was not available until the '67 IIRC. Mine has the real Kelsey Hayes knockoff wheels and factory side pipes.

Damn! First tennis, now Road Runners! Totally cool! 👍

While I do prefer the B body ‘68-‘69 cars, I wouldn’t be disappointed if I had a ‘70. 😁

Drove a ‘Vette with a 427 once. Stomped on the gas pedal and WHOA NELLIE! Snapped my head back and quickly realized that while I love the power of big blocks, it’s not something to mis-handle and abuse.

I would drive it like I f*cking stole it. My dream is to head north on I-29 to Sioux Falls SD, take exit 84B to I-90 West, get to the bottom of that cloverleaf pointed west, and punch it.

I have always been a Ford guy but at this point in life anything with a 426 Hemi will work.
