is it my imagination, or have we seen a steady drift to badly filled cigars. These are cigars that feel OK, but once you light them, they start to burn rapidly down one side and you find that there' a tunnel underneath the binder with almost no tobacco in it.

This has always been a sign of bad construction, but used to be very rare. I'm buying mid to high profile brands and it's getting up to two cigars out of every fiver. You practically have to pinch them and pull only on one side to get them to burn all the way down. It's an immense pain.

Are we allowed to mention exactly which companies are the primary culprits?

Who do we complain to? Are there customer service representatives for the manufacturers? The distributors don't care, nor should they have to.
