First time of the season? What season? Grilling is year round man!

My brother in law does the same, only grills when weather is perfect. Rain, snow, or sun I'm out there.

I normally grill all year. This/last year was the first in a while that I haven't done it.

You are going to have a great time.
Summer starts here like Monday when it will be 96F or higher every day this week in humidity that just chokes you out. I'll be doing the opposite of you for the next 4-5 months.

I work outside so the heat don't bother me too much. As long as I got some shade in the yard in good after working. But if I sit too much in the AC after work I'm usually not gonna go back outside. Helps that I been drinking since noon.

I kinda miss physical labor jobs.

I ate a lot more back then and was about 80lbs smaller, but could lift 100lbs more.

But I don't miss it just the same.

Agreed, Danm. When I was just a wee lad in the Navy I was a boiler technician. Lots of manual labor in hot and humid conditions. Lots of wrench turning, sand blasting, chipping, painting... and I was 170-175 and ate what I wanted and drank beer all the time.

I still like turning wrenches, but the body ain't built to do that stuff for life. That's fer damn sure.

That boat was a ship... and that ship's name was USS Sterett CG-31. She was a Belknap class guided missile cruiser.

Finally got around to putting down the Bermuda seed today to get the summer lawn in place. Moved and spread about 400 pounds of topper soil/mulch on it and now the excessive watering begins. Should see some sprouts in a week to ten days. Fingers crossed.

Good morning everyone. We are enjoying our coffee. Today's sunrise over lake Tahoe was spectacular. Sunset last night was very reminiscent of sunset over the caldera on Santorini. All of the wine and beer for the vacation are local. Plans for today, we don't need no lousy stinkin plans!

Y'all have some Saturday fun!

He was strange and difficult to deal with. Sometimes the only way to deal with him was by threatening him. He once decided that he had his own parking space in the unmarked general lot and threatened a guy I knew not to park there ant more. I parked in that space for the next week or so and sometimes waited in the car for him to pull into the lot, waved to him and then headed into the building. After that I related the story to another new employee, who took over the parking spot until the day the cops came in and arrested him for several prior out of state warrants.

Good morning. Heading out to Lowes and Costco. The question of the morning will be whether my wife can just stick to the three things we need from Costco and not spend over a hundred bucks. NOT!
