Emergent job popped up and I'm working the late shift. 6pm -6am. Saturday and Sunday for sure, possibly Monday. Thank God for coffee.

One of the main roads in the area is closed for rr repair. Makes my commute so much worse. Now giving myself an hour fifteen to get in and using most of it. ...for 9 miles.

There's a bike trail by me that goes directly next to the hospital. If I could sustain 10-12mph (I cant) I'd beat my drive time.

in all sincerity (you know me well enough) you have more "no quit" in you than 98.2% of people I've known.
And I've known 98.2% (that's a lie) of all people who have ever lived.

Somewhere in there is a huge compliment.

You're too fat and have too many teeth to be a meth-head. I call BS.

Not that you are fat, mind you... just not super skinny and twitchy.

That sounds like a San Francisco Bay Area commute…..and the bike trail is completely covered with homeless people tent cities.

^And like 9 different Walgreen's stores closed due to the high rate of shoplifting in San Francisco. Pelosi's and her nephew Gavin are doing a bang-up job for their constituents!

And this is suburban indiana. Population growth far surpassed infrastructure and traffic is as bad as a city. We don't have too many homeless, but they're there. No camps, most of them have cars or vans parked in busy parking lots.

Theres three routes I can take. One has 5 railroad crossings and 12 traffic lights but on the rare day there's no train, takes 15 minutes to get in. Can well surpass an hour if there is one train but I've caught 2 a few times. There's a switching yard nearby so on one of the crossings the trains will stop for 20-30 minutes.

The other has 25ish traffic lights but bridges over the crossings. Routinely 30 minutes.

The third has two train crossings and 18 traffic lights. Routinely 40 minutes, but well over an hour if a train backs up traffic.

Good Sunday Morning! 65° on the way to 81° and cloudy today.

Fixing a leak in my garage sink today. I found a three sink stainless steel unit in a closed bar auction to replace the standard contractor wobbly plastic wash tub in my lower garage.

I'm now convinced not store PVC cement, just use it for a job, throw away the leftover cement and buy a fresh can for the next job. The cleaner/primer will keep pretty well. Oh, and JB Weld make a great wet/dry epoxy putty.

Up and out. Big day for circle jerkers. Indi has been a must since I was about four listening to the radio with my dad. Remembering good times.

I despise US 30 in general. After 11yrs of Valpo to Merrillville and back I suffered chronic road rage (passive stuff. None of that chit you see on YouTube). Now I head straight south and cover twice the distance in the same amount of time. When I was headed to the interview I was amazed at what a peaceful drive it was
