An in-law gave me these recently...any comments?

SC Signature Collection - don't know anything 'bout this one.

AF Gran Reserva - know, but dude, he cut it and didn't smoke it. What's up with that?

RyJ Cedros De Luxe #2 - know and will be one of the cigars that I take to Palm Springs this weekend.

Rudy's Vintage Hand Made in Mexico - Uh, what's this? Anyone? Anyone?

E, is your friend older? A lot of the older (and I do mean older..like George Burns style 😎 smokers I know clip all their cigars before putting them in the humidor..

Damn … I’ve got a few smokes in my humi that for one reason or another have been cut already and I’M not old!! … and I’ve got more than one smoke as part of a trade that’d been cut before it was sent … hmmmm … I’d not thought of those guys as being old either … I’d always thought they were like me and maybe cut one, then didn’t light it and put it back

Well, my humidor is actually a "loaner" until I decide if I want my own, LOL!!! I guess it's time, huh? I better start looking at the auctions!

And the guy is 49, no where NEAR George Burns! I didn't ask him about the prematurely clipped end, but I figured that he WAS gonna smoke it and then put it away. Not to mention that he quit smoking altogether! Maybe it was a fleeting moment? I just never had seen it done before.

If you want them clipped, then buy the same ones George Burns used to smoke, or any other machine made counter display cigar! Ugh

I never said I wanted them clipped! It was just given to me that way.

There is a guy who owns La Villa de Tabacalera in TJ named Rudy. He has his own brands made from San Andres tobacco. Mexican that is. His last name escapes me....something like Ruman but not that. Anyway, his Conquistador line was an ok smoke. It may be allright. Not like the RJ though.

Rawman. Rudy Rawman. The Conquistadors were strictly for sale in Mexico. I have found no trace of them "up here".

XRun...I hated that RyJ! It was terrible! Ok, that is MY opinion, but yuck!

The Fuente next to it was incredible...gotta stock up on those babies, lol!

I found out that my in-law (which gave these to me) in fact buys most of his gars in Mexico...most likely TJ or in BC somewhere. I haven't asked him personally yet though 'cuz he's in the hospital again...another stint in the ol' vein. Sheesh! At 49 too....
