Had swarms of them when I first moved in but they've been dormant for 8-9 years. This was my 5th encounter this summer. Normally I answer the door and then close it, or don't answer it at all.

This one came in my garage, I got earmuffs on cutting trim for bathroom and touches me. I got up and was ready to lay him out but he put his hands up. Tries his speech while I'm cussing him out and telling him to GTFO.

That's a good way to get shot dumbass. I'm still fuming. He made me lose my spot and I cut a $28 piece of trim at the same angle as the previous one, so now I have to buy another.
