The Delta varient is hell on wheels. There is information out there. The CDC is doing us no favors by holding back on the release of this information. All kids are at much higher risk due to delta. Many years ago I saw a JB documentary. I think it was on PBS or something. It was a cool documentary. I wish I could find it again.

JB ran a tight ship. He would fine his band members for simple things like if their shoes weren't shined right.

Clyde Stubblefield, his drummer in the day, told a story about if missed a beat in a song during a show, JB would point at him and say "I gotcha." The audience would think its just part of JB just doing the "Hey! I Gotch 'Ya" thing but it was a signal to Clyde that he got busted and would be fined after the show.

Since I pulled us off topic, while at UW-Madison, Clyde Stubblefield used to do gigs and open mic's at local college bars back in the early 90's.. He'd higher on local talent to do local shows since he had a headline name. Small gigs around the Chicago, Madison, Milwaukee area to support support local musicians. Smoked a joint with him on a set break, should have gotten an autograph but it didn't occur to me at the time.
