Firing Line with Margaret Hoover on PBS thought she could corral and reaffirm her biases with a real intellectual that was persecuted and understands completely how media is used against you by a corrupt regime.

For most of her interview she's asking questions that are basic and attempting to put him in a corner. She's smiling at him when she describes his actions against his government, he's making a case for Julian Assange though. A real person with firsthand knowledge of authoritarian strangleholds schools her. He uses Education , Art and real circumstances to back up how her assertions were wrong and how her occupation is nothing but a tool corrupt regimes use against their populace. When he describes the West he all but state's "Let's Go Brandon" and that we're weak and have already gotten steamrolled by China.

This is an important interview but not for the reasons she thought. The script was flipped on her and she had no idea. Blankly smiling while trying to pigeonhole him with words. He's more of an action man. Actions speak louder than words. She's no Buckley either!

I do not trust one word the talking heads say. They have been gaslighting the truth for a long time trying to create group think. They have succeeded to the point where double speak is pervasive.

No matter what you believe the time has come to choose to be a wolf and not a lemming.

Weiwei sounds like a dangerous EXTREMIST comparing politically correct wokeness in America to the Cultural Revolution in China. He's definitely a threat to the progtard regime, saying stuff like “In many ways, you’re already in the authoritarian state, You just don’t know it.”

I'm sure he must be on the domestic terrorist watch list now. 😰

Is that not authoritarian? Yet most can't see it.

Regardless, his answer "if you are authoritarian you would have to have a system supporting you. you cannot just be an authoritarian by yourself. But certainly the United States in today's condition, you could easily have an authoritarian."

He's right, a dicktator has to have the supportive political apparatus and bureaucracies, and sympathetic academics and media behind him to make excuses for his authoritarian edicts or just look the other way and hope the booboisie don't catch on.

DMV, thanks for posting that. I enjoyed watching it, although hearing him speak made me wonder why so many others in the US don't see his reality...

In Cali you and I are already living in an authoritarian state.

And now just got hit by an earthquake while typing.
