After much discussion, our Christmas night menu is 98.2% set:

7-Layer bean dip & chips
Tossed Salad
Shrimp Cocktail
Prime Rib
Oyster Sauce Chicken with Cake Noodle (homage to Frankie)
Sweet Sour Fish (see above)
Sashimi - not sure if we can get hamachi but we’ll have something
Mashed Potatoes
White rice
Dessert - son may be bringing a guest so if he does and she wants to bring something, she can bring dessert

If you're talking about the one in front of the nut shop, wasn't that posted here at some point?

The wife and I are free agents this year for Christmas.

We will be having our Christmas meal with friends and it will be a Lebanese/American meal.

I know we are having turkey and baklava.

No clue to the rest but I'm sure it will be good.

I give up, Sandy keeps changing the menu. We will be eating whatever arrives at the table.

I don’t understand why wives decide to implement new lifestyles between thanksgiving and new year’s. 😣

Wasn't holiday related, but a few months back, the wife decided she was going vegetarian. She tried making tofu one night (no, I wasn't partaking). She cooked up pork chops the following night

The greatest meals are vegetarian
Anyone can make bacon taste good.
I should list up some cook books for you noobs

Dr. Fuhrman nutritarian stuff is a great place to start for people who want to start eating for health
(Tofu isn't nutritarian)

Is it weird that "holidays" are for gluttonous wine-bibbing?

All days must be holidays for me

But Christmas is appearantly for cookies
The girls got an experimental batch of egg nog macadamia stinking up the joint at the moment
There's more gourmet cookies here than at any bakery.
And they just got started

Aunt Penny better bring her carrot cake!

Are we allowed to bid for the pleasure of your company?

If so, is that a package deal or can we just bid for Mrs. Burner? 🍺

There are some good vegetarian meals and is fine from time to time. But meal after meal, day in and day out? That's unconscionable
