It's a beautiful day in da neighborhood. Was about 55 for the dog walk and now it's 70 headed for 78.

Pupper was walked, chased his ball for awhile, fed... and now napping in da sun in da back yard.

Got to put in a couple hours at the shpo. First time I’ve seen a vehicle which when airing up the tires, the horn goes off to indicate they are at the optimum pressure.

My truck does that...

Wait, your shpo protects you AND fills your tires?

Curious, how does it know you are filling them? I mean, does the horn blow every time they reach the perfect PSI (ifin it's cold, mine start lower than 32psi but warm up to 32 as I drive) or only when the valve caps are off?

TPMS must notice the sudden increase in PSI I am guessing.

I sometimes make noise when I get blown.. 😟

Honestly? I do not know. I have my own tire pressure guage and I use it when I fill them. I've pulled up to "America's Tire" and had them fill them, too... they have this machine that they use. They check your door sill to see the proper pressure and then set the machine to that and it stops when it hits that number.

Only beeped once there. You'd think it would beep for each tire, right? When I fill it myself... I get the occasional beep but not for all 4 tires. Must be the TPMS sensors.

Not all tire gauges are properly calibrated.. 😟

Got contacts- for the first time every today. Now, I won't have to deal with the combo of eyeglass frame and hearing-aids behind the ears. No more dropping or losing hearing aids when putting on and taking off eyeglasses. WINNING!!!

Noah is still waiting to hear from three more law schools. He did NOT get into UF even though his LSAT is in 90th percentile and his undergrad grades were 50th percentile for admissions. No surprise as we didn't expect he'd get in. Too competitive and I don't have the "political juice" to get it done. So, that's not a big deal. And, I don't think it would even be the best school for him anyway, prestige aside- as it is geared to place students in "Big Law".

He did hear from Stetson, his "safety school" already and they want him real bad. Gave him a guaranteed $90k academic merit scholarship (so long as he maintains a 2.3 GPA- LOL!). Hoping he gets in elsewhere (FSU, Miami and FIU) so we will have better negotiating leverage on the amounts of the scholarships we think/hope he'll be getting.

Taking niece down to Boca Raton and back to visit FAU on Monday, then taking Noah to St. Pete on Wednesday to visit Stetson Law School.

Been real warm, but still nice weather lately. I am still waiting for a week of 75F or bellow each day, but I am not holding my breath...

Turns out I needed glasses. My hitting and fielding improved exponentially. I mean... like, I was terrible, and then holy crap, I was really good!

Wore the damn things for years. Couldn't do contacts. My eyes would dry out faster than a raindrop in the Sahara. Then got the PRK surgery in 1998. 24 years later and I can still see distance just fine. Can't see anything up close without reading glasses, though.
