Good Monday Morning! It's a clear 42° on the way to 74° today. I'm off to the range for some extra practice, we have a competition Saturday.

44 headed to 76 eventually.

Pupper took a whiz in da yard and went right back to bed. I'll just fart around and drink a cup of coffee and see if he gets up any time soon. Or maybe I'll just go back to bed, too...🌫

Got a quick thunderstorm move through yesterday (and Izon is passing through, conincidence?) while my littlest was napping. The thunder woke her up and she was like "WTF, make that shyt stop Dad." I said "OK, give me a few minutes and I will see what I can do. " Blammo, instant hero.

We had rain on Saturday. Apparently this storm is going to cruise across the country and create a mess.

Shpo Talk.
-Nitrogen into tires is suppose to work in theory as the molecules are larger so they don’t escape as fast. The mechanic I talked with thinks it is a fad and doesn’t make a difference.

Friggen Aristocratic Ride of the Day: Unsure of the year, but had collector plates. Mercedes SLK 350 convertible. So low to the ground, was at a stoplight next to a standard Ford F-150. The Ford’s front bumper was slightly above my eye level.

Comfort Ride of the Day: 2020 Toyota Highlander. Bigger than I thought the were, but glided along the road. Which made me think of something.

Often I pick up parts as part of my job. Have done this gig probably 12 days since the first of the year.

Most commonly, I pick up Chevy parts. Second most are Jeep/Dodge. Third Ford.

Seriously where daytime temps can fluctuate up to 60 degrees, welcome to spring/fall in Texas, nitrogen does help stabilize tire pressure with less molecular change

Wifey 2018 Highlander...........me 2011 Tacoma

Those parts runs are exactly why we drive Toyota

BTW congrats on the new gig

Three brands of vehicles that I will never buy again. If I have any say, I will never by a GM or Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep product again. You can add Volkswagen to the list too.

Rain was blowing sideways about 25 mph. Temps dropped and got small amount of hail.

Oh and 8track, reason there are many Chevy parts is it's by far the most sold and used. Every time I look at an old Ford at a car show it has a Chevy engine conversion.
