I can make up my own grammar... I'm like a rebel and stuff.

I frequently use "prolly" rather than "probably." Drafter taught me that... and I dinnet need to visit a van down by da river to lern it.

I use a "continual recharge" approach. I put a few Bovedas in my my tuppereradore and also put in a little jar of crystals. I charge the crystals with distilled H20 and let the Bovedas "pull" the excess humidity out of the air. That way, they are always recharged, pulling out moisture, and when the crystals dry out and I forget to recharge them for a few months, the Bovedas switch to "push" moisture out. I have a few packets that are zero-crunchy after a few years of use like this.

I tried doing it the “Commie 7” way and hey, it seems to work for me too!

Great tip! 👍

At this rate, you’ll probably get promoted to Commie 6 in no time! 😰

Gel crystals make things taste funny IMO.

FYI Tuggy, you can take those beads outta the water and try to save them in the oven.

I used my old Cocane strainer and sifted out the beads then reinstalled them into their container, problem solved.🇨🇮

Only promotion possible if Victor doesn't return. Anyhow your # 4 spot is pretty safe.🙄

I live in an area that is very dry... so I have a couple pounds of the beads in a few plastic tupperware type containers. I moisten them with distilled water by spritzing some on them and shaking them up.

I have recharged by taking an old noob humidor, filling a shot glass with distilled water, putting that in a zip lock, put them in the humi, surround the shot glass with the dry Bovedas, zip it but keep air for it to be a bit like a balloon, and close the lid for a few weeks. Remove what I need, throw in some spent Bovedas, rinse and repeat until the shot glass is empty. Can be months.

I like the zip lock cuz it creates a highly humid atmosphere and if some moron bumps the dresser it sits on with his tripod, at least it won't spill all over the humidor.
