Also, since I'm not a cigar smoker and have been out of the loop for many years, I would appreciate recommendations. Chris did give me some specific brands, but one is a "wish list" cigar and I'd rather get him 5 good cigars than one wish list cigar, and another is one that isn't sold here on CBid. Since they are kind enough to let me use their forum, I feel like I should purchase some from them. Thanks in advance.

In themselves big ring gauges isn't an issue. My personal preference is for rings 50 and smaller, so I don't have anything is his gauge range. There are a fair amount of 54 rings and above in the auctions here.

There are two samplers I saw (Diesel and Ave Maria) with those larger rings. Most of those are in the medium zone, although none of those suggest creaminess in the description.

Chris likes mild, creamy smokes. Because he has lost some, but not all, fine motor dexterity in his hands he prefers a larger cigar as they are easier for him to hold.

One I found that I felt was both creamy and medium body was Peterson Gran Reserva.

C&P from add copy

Although widely regarded as a maker of pipes and fine pipe tobaccos in Ireland for over 150 years, the Peterson brand also released a small batch of handcrafted cigars a few years back. Peterson Gran Reserva is handcrafted in Honduras from a well-balanced blend of Nicaraguan and Honduran long-fillers gently tucked under sumptuous Cameroon wrappers. Soft spices complement enticing notes of earth, wood and cedar with a sweet and resounding medium-bodied finish.

Use to be able to get them from a place that rhymes with Jolts but they don't make them anymore so this post is rather worthless.

Thanks for the recommendations. I started looking at the auctions and tinkering around with the filters, which are very handy BTW. I went back to FB to look at the pictures and info Chris sent me. I don't think he's as well versed in cigar lingo as you all are, so I'm going to assemble a nice little sampler of 54-to-60-gauge smokes so he can try some different kinds.

Reeks of some sort of ASPD... the first thought that you wanted something from them... one thing I learned from lower functioning minds is that they tend to apply their own traits to other people because of their inability to empathize...

So therefore if they ever reach out, expect them to ask for something or try to shame you into something.
