Anyone who is in a state with excise tax buy a box of cigarillos? I used to buy boxes of cigarillos with my normal cigars purchases for those moments where I smoked mine faster than a buddy and need to fill the time! My question is this, my states taxes at a rate of $0.50 a cigar, if there is a box of 100 cigarillos, are they really adding $50 tax to that purchase? 100 cigarillos may only cost $40-50… with that tax and shipping and normal sales tax that would push it to over $100… is that what you saw if you purchased in an excise tax state? Just want to know more before I lock in to pay for something that is not worth it!

I live in MI, I’ve paid the excise tax on boxes of 20… took my $70 box and made it $80 plus shipping and sales tax… I just don’t want to pay $50 in tax on $40 box!

They also say that we are going to hell for smoking cigars and drinking beer, wine and booze because it's a sin. But paying the sin taxes on tobacco and alcohol are the key to getting back into heaven

People use cigarillos to smoke weed, it’s a war on minorities just like the excess tax on menthols over Norma cigarettes. It’s the lefts new Jim Crow stuff, I hear Bido wanted an extra tax on Kool Aid over soda but that be a step too far punishing the poor.

Ha the cigarillos is great for when you smoke that cigar faster than your buddies and the night quite ain’t over yet… bides you a few minutes… I prefer the petites vs the open ended… the 30ish ring range…
