I’m a DC boy mainly. I read the stuff on line now since I don’t have room for any more boxes of comics! 45 years of buying, off and on!

My biggest concern is running low, so whenever I see open space I start looking to buy. A few years ago I emptied a cooler and imposed a storage limit. A gurkfest or 2 or 3 got rid of a lot of the unremarkable stock and left room for more tasty stock to age. My biggest concern now is stock getting over aged. I've had some so called top of the line cigars fade out of flavor.

I write the date I received the box/five pack on the packaging (or a tiny sticker on singles). I used to smoke a cigar right off the truck, but I stopped doing that when I realized that most cigars need to 'breathe.'

My personal method is to let 'new' cigars rest in the humidor for at least 2 weeks without cellophane before I smoke one.
