My commitment to only buy the LCA stuff this month lasted less than two weeks.

I smoked the EPC Capa de Sol last week and liked it, maybe better than any other EPC I've smoked. Ok, not a big deal, put it on the list of stuff to try more in the future. Except I read that it was discontinued last year. Sure enough, most places seemed to be out of them. Found some, bought a tenski. 🤦

I don't like buying 10 cigars based upon only having smoked one, but my FOMO kicked in.

#19 - Viaje Skull and Bones Cloudmaker from Marcus. Also good.

These were three nice hits from three BOTLs. Thank you much, Gentlemen.

#2 - Tonight I smoked Plata o Plomo by Sinistro. It was an LCA release last April(ish), but I never got around to smoking it. Nice smoke, very good, recommended.

^I would like to try this. I usually put un-frozen cigars in the desktop to segregate them - stuff I get at the shpo or things I don't want to wait on until they come back from the deep freeze. I read somewhere that it takes a couple of weeks for a cigar to recover from being frozen. Seems more like a couple of months to me.

#21 - Foundry Time Flies romusto from SOB. This was exceptional, IMO. It had that creamy, bready flavor that I love so much. It looked like it had a little age on it judging from the cello. Definitely will make the list of top LeeBot cigars of 2023, no matter what happens for the rest of the year.

#22 - Isabela romusto from Jake. The draw was a little too stiff for a while. It took me some time to work it open, and sure enough there was a stem in the way. Took that out and it was good to go.

Well you could pre smoke it for quality control purposes.

Happy that one was good to you Lee. I believe that was a late '20 purchase. Clearly I was slacking along the line in my labeling. I try, but time flies

Seems that cigar is unavailable. One that’s popping in my mind with the profile you’re explaining is the man o war (the expensive one that’s also discontinued). Can’t find either one.
