Does anybody smoke these? I have not, and likely wont. There is something about the name, or whatever, that I find annoying (yeah I know first world problems and all that)
I just wonder if they are any good.

Smoked alot of them when I started. Have not had one in a few years now. Will not be buying any unless something goes really bad for me.

I had a Lancero of the original blend yesterday, and its the kind of cigar that does not demand any attention, just lets you know its there once in a while. Good tobacco/leather flavors with a bit of spice on the finish.

Yeah, I smoke them some. The classic, some of the maduro, Nicaragua. Overall, I've found them to have good construction.

I've smoked a lot of them and I still smoke them from time to time. They are a decent yard gar, but of the 30 variations I have smoked I can't recommend one that I would consider a good cigar,

The cask was a decent cigar if I remember correctly.

been a buncha years since I was just getting into "real" cigars, and leaving the Acids and Javas behind...started by getting "affordable" stuff and 5 Vegas were certainly that...

iirc, the Cask Strength and the Triple A were ok...the others were merely meh, to a nooby palate...not good enough to get some now to see if they've improved over the years

might have a 10+ year old Cask Strength or a Triple A buried somewhere...

at the time, Ramon Bueso and Brickhouse cigars seemed to be a better bang for the buck

As I write this I’m on a Macanudo M. It’s nice. Little coffee, chocolate and some spice. Not like an Acid which is over the top ( though I DO like a Kuba here and there), this is very mellow.
I would do these again.

I was not impressed with the Cask, even liked it less than some of the others. Bueso's stuff is not what it used to be, but I am not aging them as much as I used to.

The “A” maduro coronas used to be a very serviceable cigar, and the original AAA that came in one vitola were really good for the money, when they started doing other vitolas they just didn’t taste the same to me and I quit buying them. The originals were *meh* not terrible and the Gold was a decent Connie but those aren’t my bag baby. Good for a handout cigar for a non-cigar person (read mooch)
