Gotta start somewhere. A fiver of 5 Vegas Classic robusto go for about 1.25 a stick or less.

Seems most here have an opinion on 5 Vegas. I didn't read about anyone losing their **** from smoking one.

I say pick up a fiver and smoke for yourself. Worst case you end up with a few leftover to pass out when you smoke with buds who would be just as happy with a Backwoods. And you might actually find it's a passable smoke at this point in your development. Or maybe a few months down the road. You won't have anything to build on if you let everyone else do the smoking.

5 Vegas AAA is good I like the box pressed one (romusto)
The 5 Vegas gold anniversary is very good

I smoke the classic and gold once in a while. They’ll smoke nothing great but I’ll smoke the last of them I have. I like the toro size better than the lancero in the classic blend.

Does anybody smoke these? I have not, and likely wont. There is something about the name, or whatever, that I find annoying (yeah I know first world problems and all that)
I just wonder if they are any good.

Tried some Series A back in the beginning. It was good at the time, but doubt I'd go back to it. I remember a 5V Limitada from stinger (pretty sure) that was purty good.

I keep a stash of the 5 Vegas Series A on hand (Anomaly - corona size, and the Artisan - robusto size). For a $2.00 cigar, I don't think they are a bad choice compared to other $2 smokes.

I like them for an inexpensive smoke to spark up every now and again. Smoked them a lot while doing yard work, fishing, hiking and for handing out to others that are not "real" cigar smokers (they look fancy with the cedar wrap). The triple A's and the Cask Strength ones also fall into that category (inexpensive, full bodied).

Tried the Classic and the Gold but they didn't fit my profile.

If you enjoy the Gol!, try to pick up a 5-pack of JdN Antano 1970 if you haven't already tried them.

The 5 Vegas anniversary gold is a perdomo rolled smoke. Reminds me of the champagne. It’s not like the others. The triple a is pretty surprising for the price. I take it over the Gol! I smoke the gol!

Ha!

The Triple A Lancero Special Run many years ago was decent……….mostly.
The annual Limitadas were OK as well.
The Cask Strength? Oooph!! Kinda rough around the edges….
