Nah Conan very good people I’m just giving him a hard time

Personally I keep a digital hygrometer in each of my setups.

Mraia. Those things seem to be good at making condensation. All of them. Every brand out there. Mine is unplugged for that very reason. I’ll take my chances on a few days warmer than I’d prefer over causing mold because that’s exactly what they do. Unplugged they look nice and work well. I’ve told 10 plus new guys here and there to just unplug them. I don’t fully understand why they do what they do. But that’s what they do

My advice is to relax. As long as my stuff stays between 60 and 70 rh, I'm good. Depends on the time of the year because of the temperature swings. Less stress and worry just focusing on a range. It doesn't matter. For me, and my taste buds, I can't tell the difference between 62 or 67 rh.

I use cheap digital hydrometers and have not calibrated them other than to see how they measure compare to each other. They're off a little. It doesn't matter.

I haven't had any humidification in the boxes since late April. Instead I have about a half dozen dessicant packs in each one to keep the moisture down.

I have 10 0r more digital hygrometers and if I calibrated them I would expect they would all show a different %. Maybe 2 might be the same. Sometimes I look at the few humis that have both digital and analog and tend to believe the analog number. I only worry when I see numbers above 70^% and then only after I try a second hygrometer and it's also high.

I place one 60 gram 72% Boveda pack in all of my 236 ounce Sistema tupperdoes. It maintains RH between 66%-68%.

I keep multiple set ups.

1 cooler at 69% for longer storage/aging. i have some boxes with over 20 years of age on them but most between 5-10 years in that cooler.
Main cooler has all 65% packs. Cigars get moved to this cooler for minimum 2 weeks before i smoke them but most are in it for a year or more.
then i have 2 10 count Travel cases that sit on my desk and get used when i... travel. these have 62% packs. same packs are used if i have extended travel or go to a larger event and ue my DE 40ct travel case.

temps are always 60-65 in my basement that the coolers are kept in.

I have Govee monitors in both coolers but pretty much ignore them now as they never fluctuate more then 1% in either direction.

And the Needone is going back. I can’t get the temp and the rh to regulate and worse I’m getting condensation. Not going to keep something that actively produces mold!

I haven’t talked to anyone that has had honestly good luck with any of those things. I have a 300 count one. Looks nice. It’s unplugged so basically it’s a cooler

Yeah I’m not sure how I’m going to keep these things cool. The summer months are just too hot and humid. I guess it’s just going to be a crap shoot. Maybe a cooler with an ice pack

So I just picked up a big Igloo cooler and a couple of large sized ice packs ( the plastic refreezable ones). The plan is to just keep the few tupperdores in there with a few Bovedas in each individual Tupperware. Temperature will stay in the 60’s and all will be good.
I hope…

I have 3 Tupperware each with a few 65% Bovedas in the cooler with an ice pack and the temps and the rh are both at 64%
No beetles, no mold, still using individual tupperdores for infused and regular smokes and all seems to be working well.

Glad I dont have to deal with that kind of heat and humidity.
But if I did, thats^^ probably how I would do it.
Tuppers with beads/ bovedas INSIDE a big cooler, with a freeze pack in a ziplock, if necessary, in the cooler
