I just got a delivery of a few My Father Connecticuts, La Promesa and a few Sobremesa Brûlée’s.
I don’t want to smoke a single one till it’s aged appropriately. What’s your recommendations? They came from Neptune with a little pack, not a Boveda, but it’s moist. In transit about 4 days and it’s pouring rain here

Decent Connies are good to go after a few months imho.
Let em sit too long and you are headed for airball country.

And watch out for that Brulee wrapper………. very thin and fragile from my experience.
Not a cigar you want to shove around while looking for a different one.

I would, however, check every one of your hygrometers (…at least once, mebbe twice for good measure…) to make sure they’re reading correctly, ‘cause, you know, that’s what you do…right? 😁

^ now with the Govees I can check them on my phone all the time, which in my case is not a good thing. I’m eventually gonna ditch all the hygrometers but…I can’t. I…can’t 😕😔

And 2 years for the Promesa? Damn.

^ that’s the plan, pretty much. I’ll give one of them a month to acclimate, smoke it and then let the others sit and mature. I’m in no rush!

All good advice above. Typically what I do if I grab a 5'er is I'll let them acclimate for a few weeks then have one. Then let the others sit. Eventually I'll find come back to it and I'll see how it compares. I have some promesa, le bijou, and a few opulencias sitting right around a year each. I can honestly say as good as they were when I got then, it just gets better.
