fell for the snow job description for DrewEstMad factory smokes[frypan]

Almost made me quit cigars

Any comments ?

😟

Anytime you see “Factory_______” not something I’m going to buy thinking I’ve found a hidden gem. If you’re lucky maybe a decent yard gar.

I've tried a lot of "yard gars" cigars around $2 and not only are Factory Smokes the cheapest at about $1.50 ea. when u buy a bundle of 25, they taste the best. My favorite is the conn. the maduro is good but I found its better after some time cause it has a lot of bite ROTT. Since I don't have the room or the will to age yard gars I only buy the Connie's now. As for cigar descriptions, they're all snow jobs.

you spelt "blow" rong

had the Maduro. like smoking a charcoal stick."cooked" maduro for sure.

Staying away from cheap maduros

Try the HC’s maybe. I think they are a step up from the Factory Smokes, but not too expensive. Great cigar to have in the Humidor for yard work, walking the dog, etc

i tried HC conn.

Good draw and burn but somewhat Mild . Been watching the Corojo

but the bidding gets out of hand.

My favorite HC was like a 5 x 46.. don't remember exactly what it was.. 😟

I want to know where to get the same HC The Katman got

kohnhed.com/2014/06/16/xikar-hc-series-habano%C2%B2-cigar-review/

Does a 10 year old review have any usefulness relative to today's line up?

I personally hated the hc. Maybe I got duds. Didn’t like. Good cheap cigar for myself is the room 101 bundle smokes. I love em

The ichiban ^ stick with the habano. I didn’t like the maduro. Recently read something here about cheap maduro being not so good. I tend to agree.

Thanks on the Ichiban info.

I,ve had them in sight at the auction.Never pulled the trigger.. Next time if the crazy bidders stay out

Curious about Gurka Hudson Bay and Partagas Leyenda.Watched them couple of times but never pulled the trigger..

anybody had them?

I’d try the partagas before the Gurkha I didn’t really like any of the non Cuban partagas stuff I’ve tried though. If you’re bidding on here I typically buy aj Fernandez stuff. They’re a little strong sometimes but they can be pretty good cigars

thanks Jake.

Yes AJ"s never fail, Won some NWorld and Enclaves Broadleaf. Great smoke.I light them up on special ocassions, like yesterday's

Play-offs

I’m learning that I like the AJ Fernandez cigars, I’ve been sampling a lot of his blends.
